This month the employee nominated cause was the Sandy Pines Wildlife Center in Napanee. SPWC has been in operation for 25 years with a mandate to help all injured and orphaned wildlife and release them back into the wild. They advise people from across Ontario on human solutions for dealing with wildlife. Every year they help thousands of animals, many of which are successfully returned to the wild.
The organization is supported by a team of volunteers and donations from the public. SPWC was nominated by Chris Trumpa, who also volunteers with the organization.
