One bike… 30 seats… 20 minutes… 2kms… and one great team working to create more survivors! The Heart & Stroke Big Bike Ride is a team event geared towards companies, community organizations and groups. This is one of the events that Alarm Systems participates in and supports on a regular basis.
Teams are usually made up of 29 enthusiastic riders who each commit to raise $50 or more to support heart disease and stroke research.
On May 7, 2015, Alarm Systems and their affiliate company, T.A.S. Communications, participated in this annual event. This year the Big Bike Theme was “BIG BIKE RODEO”. Our fun, high-energy team got out their cowboy hats, boots, lassos and plaid shirts and pedaled through our community on this beautiful spring day. Our costumes, energy and team spirit were second to none!
Together, we raised over $1,200 to help change the lives of all those affected by heart disease and stroke. Proceeds from this year’s ride will be put towards supporting life-saving research and creating more survivors!
